On Thursday, Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra accused Chief Minister Rekha Gupta of being the target of a 'deliberate conspiracy' that was executed in a 'calculated manner.' He stated that the suspect is a 'professional criminal' with a history of serious offenses.

Details of the Incident

Mishra visited Gupta at her residence on Wednesday morning. Following their meeting, he reported that the Chief Minister sustained serious injuries and requires rest. He added that she has been working from home since Wednesday.

Condition of the Chief Minister

Mishra informed the press, 'She is actively engaged in her work, but she needs to recuperate. Her physical injuries are severe, and she is in shock.' He also mentioned that the accused has nine criminal cases against him, including attempted murder and trafficking.

Evidence of Pre-Meditation

He asserted, 'The attack was executed in a premeditated manner. The suspect had surveilled her residence, and two videos retrieved from his phone support this claim.' The assault on the Chief Minister occurred during a 'Jan Sunwai' event at her home in Civil Lines, North Delhi on Wednesday.
